Over the last couple of years I have had to have quite a lot of dental work done. The staff at the Clare Street Dental Centre has looked after me very well, making me feel more like a friend than a nuisance patient! It is great to be treated like a human being, rather than just another “mouth to treat”. My sincere thanks to all concerned.

Excellent Standard

Emergency Appointment

I have been with Clare street surgery for some years now, and have always been treated as a friend as the years have flown by. The receptionists have always been polite and if i needed an emergency appointment they are always able to fit me in quickly. Just a while ago I needed a dentist who would provide a home visit service for my elderly and home bound aunt. Charlie, the practice Manager was happy to find me one and it was arranged with one phone call. Two very satisfied customers!
The surgery is always spotlessly clean and the dentists have always been very kind and reassuring when work has to be done. I would recommend Clare street dentist to anyone.

Invisalign

I would recommend Invisalign as it has straightened my top and bottom teeth after only 8 months of treatment. The braces are invisible and comfortable to wear. I experienced very little pain as the teeth began to move and I noticed the effects after only a few months. I am definitely happy that I had the treatment as my appearance has improved without experiencing any side effects.

I cannot thank you enough

I am writing to thank you for your help and advice in recommending treatment consisting of veneers and crowns. My whole outlook has changed with my fantastic new smile where for the first time I feel confident in smiling in photographs. The bonus for me has been friends’ comments about how much younger I now look. Once again, I can’t thank you enough.

I have been very happy with my treatment

I have paid several visits this year and last for various things to be done to my teeth and I have been very happy with my treatment on the NHS and the way my Dentist and his staff have looked after me, I am going again today for an impression. As you know, last Friday, you replaced two of my old mercury fillings with lovely new white ones. I thought I’d write to say ‘Thank you!’ to you and your dental nurse for making this procedure less traumatic for me! As you are aware anything at the dentist which is not a routine check-up, makes me very tense and nervous. Throughout last week’s treatment, it was reassuring for me that both you and your dental nurse were checking that I was OK and informing me of what stage you were at in the filling procedure. All the staff at your practice is so friendly and helpful in making trips to the dentist much more bearable!

I am writing to thank you and say how pleased I am with the dental crown you recently fitted for me. Having not needed any treatment for some years, I was nervous and apprehensive. However you took time to explain what needed to be done and checked with me throughout the treatment that I was all right, which really helped to put me at ease.

I am very happy

I am very happy with these, as I have been with the previous crowns and dentures you have made for me. My mouth feels very comfortable and I am glad that you took so much care to ensure that the colour of the crowns match so that they look like my own natural teeth. I would like to recommend you for the care and consideration you give to your patients and the personal interest, taking the time to carefully listen and discuss our problems and explaining the best option for us and the procedure you will take. Also, very important to my husband and myself, we commend you on the high standard of hygiene you, with your dental-nurse, maintain during your patients’ treatment and your insistence on cleanliness throughout your dental surgery.

Dental Implants

I decided to go for implants as I didn’t want the inconvenience of wearing a denture. Because of my age the process took some months, but each stage was explained to me very carefully (by Derek) and each question answered fully. The end result looks and feels extremely comfortable and natural.
